There are several different reasons for which I love online shopping. I really don’t like going to the mall (even though I’m a huge Robin Sparkles fan :P ) and not much beats the excitement of coming home to a nice package waiting at your doorstep.
Today I’ll show you guys a few things that I picked up at Victoria’s Secret. Well, victoriassecret.com, to be precise. I was only going to order some undies, and ended up with lotions, body butters, scrubs and body sprays in my cart. I took advantage of their 3 for $30 and 5 for $30 beauty product offer and stocked up on some of my favorite products and tried some new ones as well.
Victoria’s Secret hydrating body lotion has such a light formula but it’s very nourishing at the same time. It’s fast absorbing, contains aloe, oat and grapeseed extracts with vitamins A and C. It leaves the skin feeling very, very smooth and silky. I went for Sheer Love (just because I love this scent so much) and Simply Breathless-combo of fresesia and mandarin, which is a new one for me. It’s a sweet and citrus-y scent with flirty, floral hints.
From Victoria’s Secret PINK range, I picked up is Wild at Heart body lotion. This scent is a mix of red passion fruit and sheer musk, a very fruity, fresh and floral combo that’s truly intoxicating. The formula is very light, fast absorbing and non-greasy. Now, my favorite part about this product is the packaging. I love the fact that it comes with a pump, it’s very convenient, handy and I don’t have to worry about lotion tubes and bottles slipping out of my hands when I get out of the shower. Love, love, love! I also got a 2-in-1 wash & scrub in the same scent, but I am yet to use it. It was actually one product that was back-ordered, so I’m assuming it’s just as fab as the others ;) .
I also bought two PINK shimmer mists, one in the scent Fresh & Clean and another one in Warm & Cozy. Fresh & Clean is such a gorgeous and unique scent, a mix of fresh apple and lily. If the color “pink” had a scent, this is what I would imagine it to be. Warm & Cozy is a toasty, warm scent with hints of vanilla and peony. These mists are limited edition and that was probably the reason why I got these. I’m not too much of a shimmer lover, but these are so very subtle and I do like to add a bit of glow to my skin, especially when going out for the night. I really like adding just a bit of sparkle to my legs, chest, shoulders or collar bone when exposing them (usually not all at once ;) ) . The shimmer is very, very subtle and it’s really difficult to “overdo” it with this mist. These also contain conditioning aloe which leaves the skin feeling very smooth.
PINK luminous body butter in Total Flirt is a dream. The scent is a very, very fresh- a playful mix of apple blossom and freeshia. It’s my first body butter from this range and I’m really, really impressed. This combination of shea and cocoa butters literally melts into my skin leaving a soft, luminous finish.
Total Attraction is one of my favorite Victoria’s Secret scents: cherry orchid and lily blossom. This smoothing body scrub is such a great pick-me-up product. It’s a sugar scrub that gently exfoliates and purifies the skin, leaving it feeling incredibly smooth and supple.
Two other products that I bought were Instant Bronzing Tinted Shimmer Lotion that gives my fake tan a little boost while nourishing the skin. I think that it works a bit as a BB cream for body, it minimizes small imperfections and brings a little glow to it. I definitely see it as a product that I will bring with me when going on vacation, etc. I also got a fragrance mist in Pure Dream- a blend of fresh pearl orchid and pink orchid conditioning aloe vera and calming chamomile. It’s so very refreshing!
I’m a huge fan of Victoria’s Secret moisturizing hand and body cream. It has a very, very thick and rich formula that immediately makes my skin feel soft, smooth and just dreamy. It’s formulated with replenishing avocado and sweet almond oils and hydrating honey. I picked one in the scent Sheer Love which is a combo of white cotton and pink lily- a very subtle, sweet and girl-y scent. It sort of reminds me of a warm, summer evening when your skin smells of sun, water and sand :) .
