Switching to gentle and creamy cleansers was something that has really transformed my skin and I’ve become a little obsessed with them.
Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean Deep Cleansing Milk is well.. kinda awesome. First thing that I absolutely loved about it (other than the super adorable and convenient packaging) was the scent. I mean…. this stuff smells like a mix of fresh peaches and mint. No, seriously. This stuff smells so good, it should come with a warning “caution, do not drink”. Usually, a lot of products that have fruity scent smell overly sweet and artificial, but Peaches and Clean just smells fresh and invigorating. It has a milky, soft, velvety and gentle texture that doesn’t lather (it’s a cleansing milk, so duhh…), yet it does a great job at removing makeup (although you know me, I always pre-cleanse with jojoba oil before actually using a cleanser). It’s probably not as good at removing waterproof mascara and gel eyeliner, but that’s something that I find to be true with a lot of cleansers.
As usually, I did test it out without pre-cleanisng just to see how well it removes makeup on its own and I was pretty impressed. Foundation, cream bronzer and mascara all melted right off. It’s probably not as good at removing waterproof mascara and gel eyeliner, but that’s something that I find to be true with a lot of cleansers. The best part about this cleansing milk is probably how my skin feels right after using it. It’s not only soft but I also don’t really feel like I have to moisturize or tone (which I do anyway). After each use my skin just feels really well-balanced; it’s not dry or tight, there’s no creamy/greasy residue, it just feels perfect and very refreshed.
The pump, of course is a HUGE plus in my book. I just love cleansers that come with a pump- it makes things so much easier and more convenient. I think that for the size that you get (500ml) it’s also pretty affordable ($15.00 although you can get it here for $9.00). The only problem that I have is that if I’d be careful if I had sensitive eyes as it can be very slightly irritating.
Have any of you guys tried this cleanser?
