Revlon Lash Potion Volume + Length Mascara

This mascara must be my one of my new favorite drugstore mascaras: Revlon Lash Potion: Volume + Length Mascara.

Aside from the cute packaging, this mascara seems to deliver what it claims. It gives both volume and length, without clumping the lashes and it also contains strengthening proteins.

On the pictures below, I’ve only applied one coat of mascara. I also think that the brush has a lot if not almost everything to do with how the mascara applies. Revlon’s Lash Potion has a brush that is quite big, which can be great for the upper lash line, but gets a little messy when working on the bottom. I would recommend wiping the excess mascara off the brush, before applying it over lower lashes.

I could have gotten a lot more volume out of this by applying more than just one coat, which I probably would do if I were to have eye makeup that was more “heavy”. I also didn’t notice any flakiness throughout the day, and it’s rather easy for me to remove it (I use makeup removing oil).

Overall, I’d give this mascara 9 out 10. Minus one point for the fact that I need to remove the excess product from the brush, if I want a natural and even application (which equals waste of mascara and my dollars ;) ).
