When I was a little girl, I rarely played with dolls. I always preferred small racing cars and legos. I was never into the whole “look-mom-I’m-a-princess” or “I wish I were a princess” thing. I did, however, feel like a princess today when I painted my nails with this gorgeous polish.
OPI’s “My Voice is a Little Norse” is part of their Nordic Nail Lacquer Collection. It’s a beautiful, holographic glitter polish. For these swatches, I used it on its own, but I do have to say that it’s rather difficult to get the opacity to the point where it looks nice . While I love this multi-dimensional color/texture, I think that this would look a lot better as a glitter top coat for darker polishes (like “Partner in Crime” or “Licorice“). It’s one of those shades that is a bit difficult to capture on camera; while mostly silver, it has bits of green, gold, blue and yellow glitter in it. It’s very festive and “sparkly”, which makes it a perfect polish for holiday season. Pictures really do not do this color justice. Another thing I have to mention is that it takes foreva to dry, something that I thought was a bit unusual (despite me using 3 coats, I still thought that it took way too long to dry) but I do love this color, nonetheless.
