NARS Audacious lipstick in Anna
There’s a new go-to, everyday lippie in town, and her name is Anna...
I don’t know where I should begin with describing this lipstick. Gorgeous, black matte packaging with magnetic closure, stunning color, creamy formula with an incredibly comfortable wear… what’s not to love? Anna is a smokey, mauve-y, dusty rose that gives off those 90’s nude vibes, which no, I’m not over just yet.
In addition to a gorgeous color, this lippie has an incredible formula. There’s no going sheer with this lipstick; one layer is all you need for a full coverage with a color that packs a punch. Using nothing but matte lip products lately, I’ve forgotten how satin-finish feels like, and this one feels incredible. It’s so comfortable to wear, it’s not drying, it has a gorgeous finish, but I do have to say that It will transfer onto your morning mug of coffee very easily. It lasted about 3-4 hours before it started fading, so it’s not the most long-lasting lipstick out there, but that’s okay. I love this color and formula so much, I don’t mind reapplying it throughout the day.

At first, I thought that Anna was a bit similar to MAC’s Brave (right), but Anna is definitely deeper, with more berry tones.
Have you guys tried Audacious Lipsticks from NARS? I so want one in every shade now!

90s nude vibes look so stunning against your flawless skin-tone and beautiful blue eyes Paula and as those swatches show, Anna is no damn exception ;) I honestly haven’t seen such a beautifully presented, eye-catchingly gorgeous lipstick in a long while (if ever). I love a lipstick that packs a punch on first application (maybe I’m just lazy hehe) :D
