You know just how much I love mascara and I thought that I’ve tried them all and that nothing would impress me as much as my beloved Diorshow Iconic Overcurl by Dior. Boy, was I wrong.
Today I’ll tell you about few makeup products I’ve been obsessing over lately, one of them being Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. I knew how many people loved this mascara, I’ve been hearing about it for years, yet I was never curious enough to try it for myself. After all, there were too many “cult classic” mascaras that I’ve tried and didn’t love (like Benefit’s They’re Real- honestly one of the worst mascaras I’ve used, but hey, everyone else seems to love it!) This is not the case with Better Than Sex Mascara. No, no, no! From the first application, this gem right here became a new favorite of mine. It has just the thing that I love: a ton, A TON of clump-free volume. Seriously, if volume is something that you’re after when it comes to mascara, you need to give this one a try!
MUFE Pro Finish Powder Foundation– this is probably one of my favorite MUFE products (and I have quite a few!) but I haven’t been able to use this for the last couple of months because of how dry my skin was. Now, that it’s slowly coming back to normal I can finally use it again. I love setting my foundation with this, or using it as a base- it gives great coverage but looks very natural at the same time, something I wouldn’t necessarily expect from a powder foundation.
L’Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation– I love using this as an “everyday” foundation lately. It gives the most beautiful yet natural-looking finish. I also love the fact that it matches my skin so nicely, which is a rare thing for a drugstore foundation. My skin is slowly getting less dry, so I probably won’t be able to use this for much longer, because from what I remember it doesn’t work too well with oily skin. I love the packaging too! It’s definitely one of the best drugstore foundations I’ve ever used.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Duo in Dark Brown– for the last couple of weeks I’ve been only using Pixi’s Endless Brow Gel Pen and I’ve really missed this powder duo. I’m definitely all for natural-looking eyebrows and since I’m growing them out again, I find that powders are much easier to work with.
Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Baby Love– I’ve been trying quite a few new products from Too Faced and I’m really loving this blush lately. It’s a soft, dusty nude with some rosy tones and fine gold sparkle. Thankfully the sparkle does not show on skin. The formula of this is super soft and nicely pigmented. This blush is supposed to be very long-lasting (16-hours) and even though I usually never wear makeup for that long, I’d definitely say that it’s closer to 7-8 hours. The only thing that I do have a problem with, is that the packaging is a little difficult to open at times.
Sephora Pro Small Blush and Contour Brush (#74)– this right here, is probably one of my favorite brushes from my collection. I got it a few years a go and I use it pretty much every single day. It has a perfect shape for contouring and for applying blush. Even with pretty much daily use it still feels like new, it doesn’t shed and it’s still very soft.
MAC Whirl Lipstick– Last year I was obsessed with Whirl lip liner. This year, everyone went crazy when MAC released a lipstick version. Of course, I got my hands on it the first chance I got and then…. I sort of forgot about it. I finally dug it out a few weeks a go, and I’m obsessed all over again! You can find my review right here.
What are you loving at the moment?
