It’s been a very, VERY long time since I was as excited about a piece of clothing as I am about this kimono. I wanted to buy a kimono jacket for a while and I looked and searched, and searched and looked until I finally found a perfect one.
This Kimchi Blue Scarf-Print Kimono Jacket is made out of rayon- a very thin, light and soft fabric. The print is absolutely beautiful, it looks even better in person than it does on pictures.
I found this beauty at urbanoutfitters.com right here. It costs $69.00 (worth EVERY penny) and it comes in two sizes S/M and M/L. Because the S/M was sold out, which is what I normally would get, I ordered M/L and it fits great. I love the fact that this kimono is long enough to cover my bum, simply because I like keeping it covered :) . For some reason, everyone seems to love my big butt, except for me :D .
This gorgeous kimono jacket is SO versatile, I see myself wearing it with shorts, skirts, dresses. I think that this would look great even when paired with a bikini on a beach.
Please note that I am NOT a fashion blogger and I find it really hard to take myself seriously while taking pictures of myself. Actually, I rarely take myself seriously, period. It may not always show through my writing, but I’m one funny person. Or at least I’d like to think that I am :D . With that being said, I was thinking about featuring a few simple outfit posts here and there. You know, nothing too fancy. I’d just need to find someone who’d be willing to help me with taking pictures. Any thoughts?
Love, Paula xx

April 18, 2014 at 9:50 amIt is so gorgeous! You look lovely too and I totally agree that you should post more outfit photos! I think your dog would be a great photographer! (Okay, maybe not, but that would be pretty awesome – a photo taking dog!)
I love the last picture too! hehe! :D

April 18, 2014 at 11:12 amWhat a gorgeous kimono Paula and not to mention a very exciting post; I love that you are considering featuring fashion on your blog, you go girl! ;) I especially love the last two pictures, your blue eyes against the kimono colours look just beautiful, a perfect look! I wish I could look so pretty like you do in in the last pic, you are rocking it but the minute I try and bring my humour out in pictures I look just cringeworthy haha <3
Would love to see outfit posts, I can't wait! :D <3

April 18, 2014 at 2:52 pmI’m so happy that you like the idea! I’m not a pro when it comes to fashion and I might not be the most stylish person, but I think that’s what I like about reading lifestyle blogs, there is a little bit of everything and seeing how everyone’s style and sense of fashion differs is really fun :)
Aww thank you so much Sophie haha I don’t think I look pretty in that picture at all hehehe. It was just awkward taking pictures of myself and I ended up making idiotic faces. :)

April 20, 2014 at 7:26 pmAww you always look so stylish and cool in any pictures you post of yourself <3 Definitely, it's so fun seeing what others do with style, and lifestyle blogs combine the different sectors so brilliantly :D
I always feel the same way about beauty and wonder whether I should do more of those posts so I might introduce a few but to be honest I'm the laziest person ever and rarely buy any haha ;) So might stick to fashion for now! You on the other hand are rocking that kimono and your fashion posts will be a roaring success, I know it! :D xxx
