Jurlique Skin Balancing Face Oil
Have you ever tested a product sample and knew right away that you need get your hands on the full-sized version ASAP?
I received a deluxe-sized sample of Jurlique’s Skin Balancing Oil with one of my purchases a while a go and I immediately incorporated it into my skincare routine. I knew that I had to get a full-size bottle of this oil after first couple of uses.
“This luxurious, lightweight facial treatment keeps skin hydrated and in perfect balance during the day or night. It deeply moisturizes, helps to improve skin’s suppleness and elasticity, and addresses signs of uneven texture. It re-balances natural oil production to calm oily areas and hydrate dry skin areas. A great way to protect from moisture loss and environmental aggressors, this formula replenishes the complexion and brings a soft youthful glow to dull, dry skin.“
-Evening Primrose Oil, Macadamia Seed Oil, and Marshmallow Extract: Intensely hydrate and soften skin, improving its overall condition.
-Rose Hip Oil and Safflower Oil: Soften the look of fine lines and retain skin’s moisture levels.
-Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, and Jojoba Oil: Provide emolliency and give skin a smoother, healthier-looking appearance.
-Carrot Root Extract: Provides essential vitamins and nutrients
Why I love it:
-it brings instant relief to dry and flaky skin
-it’s soothing- sometimes my skin can feel really dry to the point that it burns a little. What I love to do is put a couple of drops of this oil on a cotton round and gently press it against my skin, it works like a charm.
-with regular use my skin looks healthy, energized and well-balanced
-it’s probably one of the fastest absorbing oils I’ve tried
-it leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft
-it can be mixed with your favorite moisturizer or used under makeup since it absorbs really fast
-it adds a gorgeous glow/sheen to the skin
What I don’t like:
-it’s not fragrance-free. Don’t get me wrong, the fragrance is very delicate and pleasant, but fragrance in skincare can also act as an irritant and is really an unnecessary ingredient.
-it’s a little pricey ($50.00- you can get it for $40.00 right here) but it does last for quite a while (my deluxe sample lasted me for nearly a month, and that’s with daily use).
-as much as I love this oil, I have to say that just like with most products, its claims are a bit exaggerated. Reading the description I was surprised it didn’t say that this oil will also do your laundry, take your dog for a walk and scratch your back while you watch TV.
Jurlique Skin Balancing Oil is a great product and one that I know I will purchase over and over again. If you suffer from dry and flaky skin, I definitely recommend you give it a try!

October 10, 2015 at 4:07 pmI’m yet to try Jurlique properly but it’s next on my skincare list. This oil sounds fab for upcoming winter ahead even if it’s claims of benefits are exaggerated (once it keeps my skin moisturised I am happy) x
