Ever since I can remember, I was obsessed with shopping for home-y things. Even as a teen, living in a small room at my mom’s house, I’d sort through her copies of Elle Décor in search for inspiration. Few weeks a go, I was introduced to India Circus*- a contemporary lifestyle and décor label created by a renowned designer Krsna Mehta. I instantly fell in love with their distinctive and quirky compositions.
I think that one of the things that I found really charming about Krsna Mehta’s designs is how beautifully they display the rich heritage of India. Designs that range from rugs and vases to small and personal accessories present exclusively all-Indian aesthetics and large spectrum of colors.
When browsing through their website I set my eyes on colorfully crafted cushion covers. With unexampled designs and color galore, each cushion cover seems to tell a story. Despite of being a rather small element of a typical décor, throw pillows can add a punch of color, help other pieces relate to one another, or simply make the room feel homey and snug. Throw cushions are one of the easiest ways to add your own, personal touch to the space. I picked out these two cushion covers: Palaces in Paradise and Peacock Flower Poly. How pretty are they? I have to say that I also love the idea of floor cushions. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve had people come over and our two couches in the living room weren’t enough to sit everyone. We always end up bringing up chairs from our dining room, but the idea of keeping few stylish floor cushions around seems to be much more convenient, especially since our coffee table is pretty low.
Other than home décor pieces, India Circus offers a wide array of quirky and unique accessories, dining pieces, mugs (my favorite!) and wall art. The label also has partnerships with groups like WestWing, Fab.com and HauteLook and ships to over 200 countries all at affordable prices.
Have you guys heard of India Circus before?

July 3, 2014 at 11:38 amSo many beautiful things to lust over! ;) Love the whole look of the India Circus range and its unique stamp on things. Palaces in Paradise and Peacock Flower Poly are so pretty, I agree! :D I bet they look so stylish in your apartment and I can relate to the ‘less chairs than people’ thing, how annoying is it having to drag chairs here and there haha! Floor cushions make a much better idea.
So many super stylish things! :) If I had my own place I’d definitely be buying in bulk!

Ugh I know, it can get really annoying. I’m really thinking about investing in few floor cushions, seems like a perfect solution, especially if you can use some cute covers for them ;)
