10 Lipsticks I’m loving this Fall

If there’s one thing that beauty lovers look forward to in Fall, it’s probably digging out their favorite, vampy lipsticks.

My favorite lipsticks this Fall include both bright and dark berry shades, but there are also some creamy, brown-nudes that I reach for quite often as well.

Those dark colors that look so gorgeous in magazines are not always easy to pull off during a regular day when you’re running errands, going to the gym or you’re grocery shopping. That is why I don’t usually reach for those colors on daily basis and reserve them for days/nights out. These are ten lipsticks that I’ve been loving during last couple of weeks.

Rose Caprice– I’m not usually a fan of sheer formulas, so I was really surprised at how much I liked Rose Caprice by Givenchy. It goes on incredibly smooth and wears very comfortably. It has just a hint of pink, rosy color and I usually reach for it when I’m in a hurry, since there’s no need to use a lipliner with this one, and it also works well with dry lips (it almost acts like a lip balm).

L’Oreal Plum Explosion– This is a nice, rich red with some purple undertones and a slight hint of shimmer. It’s a little different than some of my favorite reds (MAC Ruby Woo and NYX’s Perfect Red) but I think that’s why I’ve been liking it so much- it’s a little easier to “pull off”.

Milani Matte Flirty– You probably know this by now, by Mialni and NYX Matte Lipsticks are my favorite lipsticks. Milani lipsticks have such a nice, creamy formula and the packaging is to die for! Matte Flirty has a matte finish (duh!) and is a rich, wine-berry color.

NYX Matte Lipstick in Whipped Caviar– This is one my favorite shades from the entire Matte Lipstick Collection! It definitely reminds me of Velvet Teddy a little bit, and I’m loving the brown-nude-mauvey color (it’s also one of those very Kylie Jenner-like shades). The formula with these is absolutely perfect, but you probably knew that already, because I can never shut up about these!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Copenhagen– Soft Matte Lip Creams have a very velvety and smooth formula, but the color payoff is definitely not as rich as with NYX’s Matte Lipsticks. Even though it looks quite sheer on the swatch, it’s actually a very deep and moody purple, but it does have to be layered on quite a bit for the color to show off properly.

YSL Rouge Couture 70– You won’t find me rocking a deep purple or any other intense-looking color to work, mostly because I don’t feel comfortable wearing dark lipsticks in the office environment (but that doesn’t stop me from wearing them just about anywhere but work). Usually I just stick to creamy nudes or light pinks and YSL’s Rouge Couture 70 is one that I’ve been reaching for the most recently. I just love how smooth and creamy the formula is and despite having such a comfortable wear, it’s pretty long-wearing, especially when paired with a lip primer.

Tarte Lip Surgence Natural Matte Lip Tint in Lively– This was one of the first Tarte products that I’ve ever bought and I always dig it out around this time of year. It’s a bright and fun berry color with a matte finish.

MAC Modesty– This another “everyday” favorite of mine. It’s a great nude that doesn’t wash me out and has just enough of that brown undertone.

Maybelline Lust for Blush– This is another matte lippie. It has gorgeous mauve-y tones and it’s the only pink-ish lipstick that I’ve been reaching for last couple of weeks.

NYX Matte Lipstick in Siren– Now, this is a very fall-appropriate lippie. It’s rich, dark, vampy and it has the most gorgeous, matte and non-drying finish. With shades like this one, lip primer and lip liner are a must.
