“Take it Outside” by Essie is another polish from their Fall 2014 Dress to Kilt Collection. If you’re not a fan of dark colors like Partner in Crime, this beautiful, fresh taupe, soft shade may just be a perfect Autumn/Winter pick for you.
One thing that I absolutely love about Essie is their clever way of naming their polishes. That must be one cool job to have, coming up with such neat and fitting names for a nail polish :) . “Take it Outside” is a subtle, yet sophisticated shade that is just perfect for that summer into winter transition. I used to think that gray and taupe-y shades were a bit boring, but my love for them has definitely grown over the last few years. “Take it Outside” has hints of pink it, making it so easy to wear and I think that due to those pink hues this shade compliments my skin tone beautifully.
As always with Essie polishes, the formula is rich and creamy and the staying power is strong. I think that this color is especially work/office friendly. It’s delicate, but chic at the same time.

October 3, 2014 at 5:15 pmHow do you get a job like that I wonder? Imagine someone asking you what your occupation is and you fire right back: “I choose the coolest, slickest names for nail polishes” hehe :P Definitely a pretty cool job to have! Gosh what a gorgeous shade “Take it Outside” is. Essie nail polishes definitely have the most innovate, fittingly suited names to man ;) :D I love that it has hints of pink in it too, a really unique and winning combo. I can definitely imagine you rocking this to the office Paula, and making everyone green/grey with envy, as well as looking just as glamorous with it out of work. Gorgeous, glossy and glamorous <3
