Over the last couple of months, I’ve written more “How-To” posts than I realized. I think that one of the main reasons why I love working on posts like these so much is because you seem to enjoy reading them as much as I enjoying writing them.
Because I’m so insanely busy with work lately, I couldn’t publish a post that I had scheduled to go live today (no time to finish it!). The icing on the cake is the fact that the furnace in our house went out and I’m left with no heat!! If there is one thing that everyone knows about me, is the fact that I’m always cold. I get made fun of at the office because I like to wear my blanket scarf when sitting at my desk and if I could, I’d probably bring an electric blanket with me to work every winter. Luckily our furnace is getting fixed at this moment. I find it so difficult to think when I’m cold though, it’s a little crazy. This morning, when we noticed that the heat went out, I was walking around the house not knowing what day of the week it is all I kept thinking was “I’m so cold, I can’t take this… wait, is today Wednesday?” My hubby kept saying that I’m exaggerating (well.. it is almost 60 degrees outside so it can’t be that bad) but when I’m cold, I can’t function. Despite being so busy and having to deal with the perks of being a homeowner, I can’t help but feel grateful. Right now I’m particularly grateful for the fireplace and my little electric heater because without that, I probably wouldn’t be able to get out of bed this morning ;) .
Now back to blog business! Most of my How-To posts always get great feedback from you guys, this is why today I’m doing a little roundup, sharing my most-loved “How-To’s”.

I know what you mean about the cold, I struggle with being cold too! It makes everything so much harder, especially when it’s dark in the morning and freezing (I struggle to get out of bed). It’s like 30 degrees in Australia at the moment and SUPER humid, so now I am super hot and that’s just another extreme! Why can’t we have 25 degree beautiful weather all the time? x

Last Winter I told myself I’ll never complain about it being hot during summer, that the first thing I said on one of those hot summer days was “I can’t take it” haha :) I think I’ll be real jealous of your Summer weather in a couple of weeks when winter hits here! :)

November 11, 2015 at 9:29 pmI checked out the covering dark circles post because I’ve been struggling with that. I have the NARS creamy concealer, with the shade “Ginger”. It seems to do the trick, especially when I use it over my Tarte CC Under eye concealer (I used to use that alone but it would fade within hours), which I use as a primer. And dear goodness, the translucent powder is a godsend! I use the City Color Cosmetics one and it does the trick! I still struggle with lines on my under eyes though and I have really dark circles and puffy eyes from poor sleeping habits (I just graduated college)…I may have to check out the Origins Ginzing Eye Cream, one of my commenters mentioned it too on my last post, haha.

November 11, 2015 at 10:19 pmHaha I know what it feels like when the furnace blows off, well more like the water heater breaks off, OMG I can’t believe we lived without it for a whole freaking week. It was insane and the worst thing was, I realized it half way through my shower when all of a sudden I was blasted off with ice cold water. God that was a nightmare.
Anyways I love your how to’s especially the lifestyle how to’s.

November 12, 2015 at 12:28 amI really liked your ‘How To Drive Traffic To Your Blog Using Pinterest’ post, and I made a pinterest account for my blog and have been posting my blog posts there as well. Thanks for all of your excellent tips! I’ll have to read your ‘How to Find Time to Do It All’ article, because that’s certainly something I struggle with…
