Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask
Did you know that Autumn is usually the best time of year to introduce new treatments to your skincare routine? Post-summer our skin often feels dehydrated and a bit sallow, that’s why getting rid of your skin’s dead and damaged cells is important.
One of my recently discovered (and already a favorite) treatments is Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask. I mean, hello, it smells just like pumpkin pie and leaves your skin looking and feeling all pretty and healthy, how perfect of an Autumn pick me up can it be? This exfoliating and renewing mask works in three ways: it exfoliates with pumpkin enzymes, peels with Alpha Hydroxy Acid and polishes with aluminum oxide. You apply it on your skin in a thin layer, then massage your face with your fingertips and rinse thoroughly to reveal smooth and radiant skin.
This exfoliating mask goes in a bit deeper than just your regular scrub. The AHA targets your skin’s rough texture and hyperpigmentation, revealing a skin that’s brighter and brighter after each use. This treatment is definitely one that brings instant gratification- as soon as you rinse it off you can feel your skin feeling soft and smooth, and applying other treatments like serums and creams is dream, because they absorb a lot better.
You also get a lot of value here, for $58.00 you get a big, 5oz jar that is sure to last a while (you can find it on Amazon here at a reduced price). As with all AHA products, Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask is a treatment that you *feel* working on your skin. You might feel a little tingle or slight burning if you have sensitive skin. I use AHAs on regular basis, therefore I didn’t experience any discomfort (just a slight tingle).
I’m not a huge fan of pumpkin, or anything pumpkin-spiced, but I have to say that I love the smell of pumpkin. This mask smells incredible (it’s sort of like autumn in jar); very sweet, but it also has just a hint of spiciness to it. The mix of a gorgeous, delicious scent and a very interesting texture that brings instant results, makes the use of this mask a very luxurious experience.
I honestly don’t have a single bad thing to say about this mask. I’ve got nothin’ but love here!
Have you tried Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask?

October 7, 2015 at 9:27 amIt sounds like the perfect exfoliating treatment, I love anything with AHA as they’re much more effective then just a scrub. I don’t think this brand is available in UK though :( x

October 7, 2015 at 9:35 pmI really want to try this mask out, especially since it’ll make me feel very festive wearing a pumpkin mask. But I also need something that’ll be an exfoliator so this sounds amazing.
